Etiquette - A handshake, hug, kiss or air-kiss? Definitely NO!

A smile, wave or wink? Sure!

How to meet & greet ...

I love the possible inclusiveness of the wink. After all, you don’t have to give any thought to it, do you? Well, at least I don’t. A wink gives so many options without any significant downsides once I've completed the wink, as far as I can tell. I haven’t read anything that says you can contract anything from a wink - let alone COVID-19.

Think of the harmless fun that flows from a wink or two. Can you imagine your friends' reactions? I can and I'm laughing\smiling already, which in itself has a healthy impact on my immune system. Why waste words with a hello or goodbye when a good old wink will do?

There's no room for misunderstanding, is there? Or is there? In my experience winking can have a certain salaciousness associated with it. Anyway, I say more power to your elbow or should that be your wink! We all need to laugh our way through this latest crisis and I think the wink is just the ticket.

Happy winking. Photo Wix
